Urinary tract infections in children/adolescents
Fever is one of the most frequent reasons for consultation in the doctor’s office as well as in pediatric emergencies. Invasive bacterial infections have become rare thanks to vaccinations. In case of “fever without focus”, a urinary tract infection must always be considered. What’s new? How should an optimal management be carried out, from diagnosis and treatment to follow-up ?
