Children in out-of-home care often face a wide range of health-related challenges. However, their care is frequently fragmented and insufficiently tailored to their specific needs. On behalf of pädiatrie schweiz, the KHM, and the SGKJPP, and in collaboration with experts, 10 recommendations were developed to promote a more comprehensive approach to healthcare for children growing up outside their family of origin. These recommendations, along with key arguments, case examples and practical supporting materials, will be presented in the workshop.
