Poisoning can occur unintentionally, most commonly in young children who are exploring their environment, or it can be intentional, particularly in older children. It is crucial for healthcare providers to understand how to manage pediatric intoxications in the ED. A comprehensive knowledge of available antidotes is essential for effective treatment and improved patient outcomes. With this presentation we will go through classic prensentations of pediatric intoxications and management. We will ask ourselfs when to refer to toxicologist specialists and when to use antidotes.
