Abusive head trauma
This presentation explores Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) in infants, highlighting its clinical triad—altered consciousness, seizures, and impaired breathing—alongside key findings such as subdural hematomas and retinal hemorrhages. A case study illustrates diagnostic steps, injury patterns, and risk factors. The Bernese Algorithm for management of AHT cases is presented and at last, the importance of prevention is stressed.
